What is the current feelings on Mesh in P3D? Does the sim really need it? I have FS Global for FSX, but feel that it causes loading slow downs of FSX. I know I can insert FS Global into P3D but If it is of a higher resolution to FSX then it may not benefit much.

I'm loving P3D so much at the moment. I was a skeptic but now it is so superior to FSX. I just flew from YVR to LAX in the new Dassault Atlantique. No issues, no glitches, no stutters, just a pure delight.

Pilots FS Global 2010 works great in P3D v2.3. No problems at all so far. I also have FTX Vector and FTX Global installed. all work well together especially in Hybrid mode. Looking forward to FTX Open LC North America.

Thank you, I'll give it a shot, my machine seems marginal these days and its only 3 years old. :dizzy:

The default scenery in P3D is exactely the same than in FSX. There might be 2-3 small differences, but that's all. Same mesh, same textures, same everything.
P3d differs on the technical side mainly (3D engine etc...).
So yes, your mesh will definitely be a nice addition to P3D. :)
