Metal2Mesh New Seymour Johnson AFB scenery

Rogue

For a good while now I have been losing interest in FSX, but as of lately I have been watching the folks at Metal2Mesh and they have been reinvigorating my enthusiasm in FSX. These guys have been raising the bar for what can be done in the Sim.
e.g. the VC they did for the Razbam Harrier, the 2013 lineup they have such as the Mirage 2000c, MiG-29, and the Tornado GR-4. The recent announcement on the collaboration with Military Sound Studio to reproduce the most accurate and realistic sounds I have ever heard in the Sim...and now on top of ALL THAT, I see now they are doing their own scenery....and the first one is one my favorites...KGSB :applause:
Here are some screenshots from their FB page

I just noticed you posted a link to their store, and it made me wonder if you were wanting a link to purchase the scenery instead of the link to their FB page. As far as I have read the scenery is still a WIP and not available yet. I think they are focusing on getting this out along with the Avionics upgrade for the IRIS F-15E out fairly soon hopefully. I can hardly wait for either of them to come out. I have been waiting for an upgrade to the F-15E since IRIS promised it soon after they put it out but have yet to deliver on it. If their sceneries are up to the level of what they have been putting out up til now it will be a very welcome addition to my collection.

Very interesting. I've spent a good bit of time around SJ since the early 1980's. I see they have the old SAC Alert Tree off runway 8 properly modeled. First trip I ever made to SJ in 1980, the Tree was stocked with B-52G's sitting Priority A Alert. The fighter roost was full of F-4E's and there were a couple of Air Defense F-4C's armed, ready to go at the time. The KC-135's sat further down on their own ramp. This is a must buy for me.

Looks great, just hope it's not photo real but actual scenery/object placement. From the two shots, it does look great and will go great with the latest Milviz releases. Thanks for the find and posting.

Yep, those shots appear to show a photoreal ground texture, an AFCAD in place, some autogen tree placement and a few minor objects (fuel tanks) placed. I don't see any buildings modeled as yet and I'm sure there will be eventually.
