I know everyone likes to be right but Meteor F Mk8 WF654 came out of the factory wearing Glossy Dark Sea Grey/Glossy Dark Green upper surfaces/Aluminium undersides.
Of course after sixty years in a museum the shine does wear off a bit!

Hi Rob, looks like I was wrong , in fact, it seems that for some time it was an unusual painting scheme, not mat as in WWII or during the cold war period, here is the prove:

it's a rarity, it has the original shell yet.
