Metric Gauges

PEPE

I do not know if Moparmike (Mike Wagner) even comes around anymore. The last I heard he was involved with 2004 and FSX. I do know that he did those gauges for props. Maybe hunt through some Modern Jets and you can find some packages he did. Just a suggestion though.

All we have is a MESS. I collected Soviet military jet gauges and got more than 80 separate one. What we need is a consolidated package, like the standard one we use at CFS2.

NO ARGUEMENT HERE

Pepe;
No arguement here, I started to try to gather the different gauges for use in one central country set and it was a nightmare!

Agreed

In between clandestine FS2004-to-CFS2 conversions [Sorry, Morton !], I've been trying to find a quick way to consolidate gauge sets by Allied / Axis and such...

So far all I've gotten is a headache. :isadizzy:

The Combined "Groups" [Bf-109.Gau, P-47
.Gau, etc] are fine, but some are woefully incomplete; others like the RCS B-25 and RLS B-26 are VERY complete, but make selection a "Hunt and Peck" cluster flop....

Ideas ? Suggestions ?

I'm stumped on a way to force CFS2 to look in a [SUBFOLDER] of [Gauges].... This would solve a lot of the situation..... Right ?

We all seem to sgree on the same thing. Gauges are FUBAR! I belive it has a lot to do with the identification of the gauge. I found alot of them are simiular but have different prefixes. I did find some alludance by gauge designers (THANK YOU ALL!) that their gauge(s) can be used but require identifiers to be put in front of them ie; BR,F4U, etc.
To centralize, I think we would have to have all the gauge designers agree on one format then allow their gauges to be identified and used as such by all panel designers. A MASSIVE amount of collusion and possible collisions there. Just my private thoughts and no slight intended on anyone. I :salute: all who contribute their time, talents and brain power to better our little world. I will now :running:
