Microsoft overpays fired employees

Lionheart

SOH-CM-2014
So,

Am I the only one that has been hearing this? MS had laid off a large sum of people (they say 5,000), including out beloved Aces studio.

The employees recieved their severence pay..

Now, a week later, they are told they were overpaid!!! lol..

Many people were not paid correctly as well, some were not paid enough, but a large amount of people were supposedly overpaid a good amount.

Now.. Are they allowed to take that money back?

It might have been less costly for MS to have 'not' fired them.

Bill

I believe MS is considering letting the employees keep the money.

Too much bad publicity for them not to.

When's the last time you heard of the IRS letting someone keep a refund check that was more than they expected?
