Microsoft Scam?

I get this email, and it looks very much like a genuine MS communication (As I recall I have some kind of Xbox or MS flightsim account).
I will not click on any links until I know what it is about - anyone know if this is genuine?

You may have signed up for a 12 month free Microsoft Entra ID account and now that's expired they're asking you to subscribe.
Microsoft Entra ID gives access to Azure networking, developer tools etc. so you can safely ignore this email if you don't want that access.

@Wing_Z can you show us the email address from which that mail originated?

But normally having an M$ account is free, so they wouldn't ask you to pay for it. For the rest, @tiger1962 is correct.

Cheers,

Priller

Thanks for the advice, sometimes the genuine article sounds even more ominous than the phishing version!
I cannot imagine why I would have signed up for a Microsoft Entra ID account.
Then again it may have been part of the unsolicited MS Office 365 that suddenly appeared on my phone.
Happy to ignore it knowing the flightsim universe is not going to implode due to my unresponsiveness...
