Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro Joystick

i mean no offense...
like they say,
it takes one, to know one.
and i am one,
especially, in the combat sims
or in a fs9 multi-player event
like the Round the World Race
when the pressure's on.
i'm constantly reminding myself
to lighten up on the controls.

it's like driving on ice.
white knuckle it and you're doomed.
just relax and you've got control.

now, imagine force feedback
under your seat!
don't laugh, it exists!

No offense taken. I just have not header the terms used in some time.

The problem I had with FFB in combat sims was that I'd pull the trigger and the stick would vibrate itself off target. I've got a FFB Saitek Cyborg in a back room closet that was only used for a couple of days. That thing vibrated all the time in FS.
 
When I get the MSFF Pro 2 I'm going to try and see if I can use the throttle control from the X52 and the MSFF joystick at the same time.

Has anyone been able to do this?

i have not tried that particular combination,
but, i am currently using 3 controllers at the same time.,
so i can't see why yours wouldn't work.

it is my understanding that up to 10 can be used at once,
although, at this point, i haven't gone that far....yet.

imagine having enough axis to be able to have
mixture and pitch controls, multi-engine throttles,
and even, an elevator trim wheel and a flaps lever.
not to mention, rudder pedals and a yoke.
and then there is the huge number of buttons available.
why, a person could go mad, mad, mad, i say> :banghead::a1451::jawdrop::mix-smi::icon_eek::isadizzy::pop4:

this is my main field of interest for the past year or so,
which, i've done a fair bit of research, collecting and tinkering.
it's true, a person could go out, spend a bunch of cash
and plug in radios, auto-pilot, throttle quadrant, pedals and so on,
but i can't justify the expense, so i just spend time.
and like i said, it's better than sitting on the sofa slopping down beers.
 
These Sidewinders are awesome sticks. I had one for many many years (non FF). It finally died and I've yet to find a stick as good as it was. They made a great steering wheel/pedals for driving also. I had a similair experience with that. I wish Miscrosoft still made controllers.

I just got another Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick USB PC for $29.99USDfor back up.:wiggle:

I also found a Microsoft 2 Joystick like HH'S for $5.00USD. If anyone is entrusted I do not have it but could get it for someone if thy payed the shipping to get it.
If it's still there.

I also found a Microsoft Sidewinder console controller, Steering wheel and peddles and joy stick like HH'S with the USB adapter all this for $30.00 USD and the man said He would take less if I want them.

I would have to take a 2hr road trip to get them.
