Just wanted to share some screenies of Middle Wallop airfield which I finally finished today. Ive sent Mr Pattle the files so it can be included in the next ETO update. Hope you all like it, just don't stand too close to Hangar 5.... :pop4:

One tip. Where the grass edge of the airfield texture meets the surrounding scenery, use a very soft brush to draw the line between black and white in the alpha layer. Also make sure the transparency overlaps the texture comfortably, it blends in a lot better without the slight dark border and sharp edges that way.

I've had pic no.4 happen a lot in FS9 - well almost, no pyrotechnics in FS9 - trying to land a hairy warbird at its Middle Wallop airfield. Yours looks a sight better! :applause:

Cheers for the advice on blending the edges. Will have to try it for the next field. Like everything with this game there is a learning curve and is always great to get advice. :jump:

Very nice indeed Chris!! :ernae: It's fantastic to see new BoB era RAF airfields coming so thick and fast.

ps Gordon - the Watch Office is the one from West Malling - can't remember the number off the top of my head.
