Midget Mustang

So I was working on external textures last night, specifically adding rivets. Tonight I realized that for the areas on the interior model where I was including the modeled rivets it would probably be a good thing for the modeled bits to agree with the external representation. These pics show how I am doing it.

That's quite meticulas work there Robert. I don't know why you are doing it other then to satisfy yourself. If it were a 3d engineering project then yes but there is no way in FS that anyone would be able to tell if they were lined up or not even with TrackIR.


Could you model a little ruler and leave it in the cockpit so we can use it to measure and verify that the rivets are indeed lined up? :mixedsmi:
 
Just wondering about a paint kit when it comes time for that. . . .have you considered incorporating a "wire frame" as part of the PK to help identify various areas of the fuselage and wings?:salute:

I am still working on it. Paint Kits come standard with my planes. Lionheart taught me that one a long time ago. :wiggle:

In that last pic, I keep waiting for it to start talking as if it was designed by Pixar. It looks quite happy, which I will be once it's released. No hurry, just saying. ;)

Nice work on the cooling ducts and cylinder heads.
