The reason I asked was I'm not sure the texture layout works on his ships. I'll probably have to mark them like paint one orange then fire up the game to see which ones which. Is there something you can view the mdl files with textures without running the game as that is time consuming and it's not a good way to view certain stuff with anyway.

JKM made much use of coloured materials rather than textures. It might be possible to use MDLmat to change these colours, but it's going to mean a lot of trial & error...

Thanks a million but I've only 3 pennies left and holes in my shirt due to my flak mod experimentation but anyway your advice is always gold and thanks a lot.
