Mig 21 F-13 by Jan Moravec

This really is an awesome Jet! Thanks everyone who helped me and the rest with engine and pilot issues.

Some screenies from my flights tonight ...

Cheers! Mike :ernae:

Hi flyboy208!
I really like the lower left screen of your last serie, can you tell me which weather software you use?

I would like to know how the drag chute is deployed?
Also, I don't have a cradle underneath the tail section after using Shift+E+2.
What's up with that? Did I install wrong?
I did not drop the whole folder into Aircraft folder. Opened it up to get to the other files and dropped them where they go. Did I miss something?

Hey flyboy, this is a bit OT but in the background I noticed a gentleman slightly hidden by a tree and began wondering just what it was he got caught doing in this shot, lol, lol. Upon closer scrutiny though it appears his hands are actually on the handle of a lawnmower, lol. Phew!!:kilroy:

Back to topic, this is a great aircraft and even the startup sequence is getting easier now, really enjoying the ride.

Tom, not sure about the drag chute although I believe it's activated somewhere in the upper left of the panel. As for the engine cradle, that along with the chocks, towbar, covers, etc are activated from the same panel you open to setup the external power cart. The switch to open it is slightly hidden by the stick.

Thanks Falcon, will give it a try. Gonna really have to learn Russian one of these days!

Amazing plane! I've been waiting for so long for one of these it's amazing to finally have one. The VC is a real masterpiece and the flight dynamics seem very realistic, too.
One point of discontent, though: the sound pack gives my PC a case of the "squeal of death" (for those who never had a soundblaster Audigy 2/4, the squeal of death is a PC lockup accompanied by a loud shriek caused by certain sounds.....it's been there for years!)......am I the only one? :kilroy:

There is an option for more realistic afterburner FX now @ Flightsim ...

Hi!
I've just finished converting yago9's finnish mig repaint. All I need now is a password to upload it at SOH (shouldn't be too long I think).
The zip file will only contain the Bmp to replace yago's original DDS so you will need to download is repaint first (available under FSX resources).
Many thanks yago for making such beautiful repaints (and allowing people to use it...) :applause:

Looking forward to your conversion of Lucien's paint...

G'day --

At the risk of sounding like a jerk here, be sure you have YAGO's permission on this. He is usually VERY SPECIFIC about modifying any of his work or re-posting it without his permission.

Admins... you can BAN me now...

I have trouble uploading file (no luck at this time!), I sent an e-mail to the admin and hope he answers fast...

I've uploaded my conversion for yago's finnish repaint today, it shouldn't be long before it's available... :wavey:
