on that czech site are a bunch of excellent military airfields for fs9 ,most have those nice soviet style aircraft shelters.I dont think you can install them in FSX without any bad issues. It,s what i miss most about FS9.Much better scenery add-ons..

I,ve just uploaded the Finnish AF livery and a modified MDL for it,with a bit of shine removed out of the material.Pls read instructions provided.

Oh were oh were is Stallin??? Im craving a Cuba FAR Mig. And they still have a few active service ones according to the logs im seeing from MUSA.

I hate to switch gears on this Mig-21 thread, but I can't find the Jolley Rogers paint you did for Dino's Cat.

Ok then, switching back to the Mig21 topic..No, my Mig textures are in DDS format and not F9 compatible.

Wow! I had been following this thread but didnt download until just now. This thing is awesome! A big jet engine + a little delta wing = loads of fun.

What an excellent find!
 
A few serious flaws were found in the flight model by a former Mig-21 Pilot my best friend knows. I just got an email from him regarding what was discussed. It's all fixable for sure. I guess a couple of people are going to crack open the airfile and config to see what is wrong.

Push this jet around a little and you'll find the obvious!

Yago9 is absolutely right !

And this is why I still Flightsim 75 % of my flight hours on FS9
and 25 % on Fsx :

Good looking and exact military bases add-ons from everywhere on the
planet available on FS9 and ...... almost nothing ( nothing !!!! ) available on FSX.

My brethren, that is why I keep both sims. The best of both worlds! Some things can't be had in either sim at the moment. The day FSX covers most or maybe all, well... Then R.I.P. FS9

I remember having converted in the past some FSX Repaints for
Tim Conrad's superb Northrop F-5A to FS9 using Martin Wright's
DxtBmp freeware tool.

I then simply copy the file and resaved all subfiles from DDS to BitMap DXT3 format, put the file on the FS9 aircraft, add appropriate lines to
the Cgf File and it worked perfectly.

Do you tink it could worked with your Finnish File ?

I've just finished the texture conversion to FS9 and it worked (first time)!
