Hi,

For some reason there's not many Mig-3 available around. Thicko did one. G.Lindell and Sky Unlimited two others.

Lindell's old one is ok, but a little dated. And the texture mapping is too small for detailed repaints. Sky Unlimited's is very nice, but payware. That leaves Thicko's which is of course is good. That brings me to the issue. There are some small glitches in the model (see attached pic) which should have been fixed. Is it possible for some of our Gmax experts to do a clean up??

Another thing. At Simviation there is a sourcefile set of an unfinished Mig-3 done by P. Rebuffat. Knowing the quality of Rebuffat's other planes it is a shame this one was never finished. A project for anyone?

There is no quick fix for that with out the sauce file. For gMax your looking at a full rebuild. Remember that textures can be blown up to 1024x1024 sqare or 1024x512 if rectangular.

First, it's great to see you back! Second, I could have sworn up and down that the Sky Unlimited MiG-3 was released at the same time as the Bf-109f, but I seem to have been mistaken.

Yes..I tried to find of how the SU Mig in my CFS2 got there in the first place. I just cant remember I bought it. But so far I havn't found anything about a freeware release. Strange..
