Years ago when I was "experimenting" with MB, I created a mission wherein Stukas would attack British merchant ships in the English Channel. I noticed that AI dive bombers prefer to attack shipping from stern to bow, regardless of the way points. I actually found it fun to be a "tail end charlie" rather than a flight leader. However, in other instances, I was frustrated when I couldn't get the AI to do what I wanted. Case in point: I created a mission where Mosquitos were to attack with bombs and rockets buildings I placed around a "harbor" in the French coastline. The only thing the mossies did, however, was strafe the buildings. I wonder now if that had something to do with the unit_family and category settings in the dp???
