Something to consider for Ai,s --load Sim Elevator Trim position ,
has a direct bearing on climb ability , The Ai uses no trim input ,
Now Ivan , returned a post , on my Cfs-1 comment ,
But it prompted more investigation of the original Cfs-1 files , something
I had theorized , concerning Compatibility , The results show a remarkable difference ,
The Ai Advantage difference caused from weight distribution , was indeed a greater
Spread point , Rammi coined the term ( too Hot , for Cfs-2 ) , It was a truthful comment ,

One point the testing brings up , is a neutral bias Trim point starting point ,

When you test , a Positive trim start point , loads the nose up ,for faster climb ,
Skuew,s the test result , Faster loop , higher Mph ,
The opposite is also true , A Negative bias Elevater trim set , Degrades the loop and
drops mph , Facts ,

Now consider, the Ai use,s no trim variation , The question becomes does it load ,
the sim for Ai the same as a player load sim , example = + 2.5 Elevator Trim ?

Or one other possibility comes to mind , Does the sim kick to Ai .Dll and install ,
a neutral bias Elevator Trim set for Ai ,

The testing is done from a player perspective , and you cann,t be sure just what
The Ai is using , for Load sim Trim ,

Cfs- 1 Mdl + Air file Jan-15-19

empty_weight = 4722

Cfg Cog set = - 0.22
Ply Cog = 23.5
Ai Cog = 25.5 ----Diff Ai Adv = 2.0

1 Ply Loop -271-mph 2,144 ft at 100 mph --T-16-secs
2 Ai Loop - 272-mph- 1,923 ft at 139 mph ---T-13-secs
3 Comb Opps -271-mph- 1,691 ft at 132 mph ---T- 12 secs

The above test was started from a Neutral bia,s Elevator trim set ,

Had it been tested at 2.5 positive trim set , The Altitude would have droped ,
on all three tests, and Mph gone up , and a time decrease ,

Taken from a visual aspect , what happen,s , The player no 1 aircraft , looses
bank circut radious , to the Ai , ( Level bank ) ,

Comb Opp,s is better than Ai , on Level Bank , so really a 200 ft altitude drop ,
is a key component , to shift advantage ,

On that basis my best guess , is the Ai .Dll does in fact reset Ai Elevator trim = 0.0

There may be exception,s to this cardinal concept , The airfile contain,s a catagory ,
under Primary 1101 / Airframe type = # 6968
A unit number , you can axcess from help file , that provides a listing of chart type ,
numbers , Used for what ? good question ! The implication is to Id different air craft ,
For what purpose ?
Ponder that a moment ,

Could it also be an Ai.DLL directory link ? let me refine that supposition ,

I was using Asa Bf110 as a target drone, and it was , set up as a usefull Player aircraft ,
that did not behave like a Bf110 under Ai control , one aspect was Yaw and pitch climb ,
were incrediblly fast , giving the reworked Seafire , fits under player control ,

Ran the course with it ( bf110 ), added 1,000 lbs to empty weight , Chopped Tune up ,
Elevator Effectiveness = 0.5

;Moments of Inertia
empty_weight_pitch_MOI = 74434 ///44434
empty_weight_roll_MOI = 62714 //39714
empty_weight_yaw_MOI = 80116 //50116

added 1/3 more MOI,s all in a vain attempt to slow the sucker down ---

guess what the Primary number was
Airframe type = # 6968 = Alah a spitfire -- go figure !
linkage to Ai.Dll , supposition very likly indeed , 85-% chance = True

airframe_type=1590---is a Bf110 Insert to air file ,
and add to [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] Cfg
airframe_type = 1590 just to be sure ,

Ahh at last , the result I was looking for , An Ai BF110 , and not an annoying spitfire ,

Now back to the first discussion , If the usage number does not match the listing ,
You may wind up with an aircraft , that loads Elevator Trim Up = Eg + 2.5 for an Ai
aircraft ,, Skeuwing the test data , the test from Player perspective ,

and checking the Unknown -- Does The AI.DLL use different settings , Elev Trim Sim Load ,
for each different Number ? -- or just zero, Elev Trim Sim Load,
food for thought , Sarg

Question

If W-98 could print 3 pages of damage report , How come W-7 is limited to 6 lines , any known fix,s ?
A page file script someplace , Stack over flow , as a missing entrée ?

No 2 W-7 prints a black page for a quick refferance guide , with out print , has any one got a fix , for that ?

No 3 W-7 the help files , will not show due to a macro misread ?? any ideas guy,s ?

Temp chart

Wind -7 handels coolant temp,s differently than Xp neccitating changed value, s ,
Oil and water temp = 0.0028 -- should put the Hurricane to 18,000 ft before 130,C is reached ,
the point at which the Cfo warning light comes on , To drop the temp , you must , throttle back ,
and drop the prop speed , to minimum , loosing some altitude in the process , Wait till the gauge
needle drops to 120 , shuting down the cfo light then re-apply Prop and throttle torque , Resume
your climb out ,

The Hurricane Wind -7 coolant chart --

The coolant chart specs for oil and water come,s from unit 542
,
temp cooling facter = 0.050 -- coolant rate of needle decent when rpm and prop drop
temp limit = 750.0 which is needle range of travel
temp rate of change = 0.0028 \ or how fast the needel is allowed to climb at full Torque
Rpm and prop speed ,

note that the prop torque and therefore section 510 does change the coolant temp ,
( temp rate of change = 0.0028 )
when differnt value,s are used for attribute # 8 = Engine Gear Ratio (to Prop) = 2.38
In other words Gear RAtio , has a bearing on what number you use for ,
temp rate of change = ?

While testing to find the results , It reminded me of George Buerlings book from Malta ,
in which the auther claimed , the following statement , It was a well known fact that ,
George and Heather, flying in pairs , were always , the quickest pilots , to reach 20,000
feet , far above , the others , and that Buerling had implied , because they were alway,s
triming and adjusting mixture , implied they were better at it than all , the rest ,

George left the Malta carrier Eagle or the sister ship Hornet , to fly to Malta ,
The spifire had one flap setting -- On -- but On had too much drag for a short carrier ,
So the British Improvized the blocker wedge , Jamming the flap at 23' degrees ,
the idea being it was supposed to fall out when you raised the flap ,
Not alway,s did that work ! according to the plan ,

Officially they were not sanctioned to use it from Malta airfields , But they also knew ,
it worked , Thus the truth comes out , by climbing under full power , at 135 Mph ,
using a locked flap , George and Heather would race to 20.000 ft ,
The end justifies the means , better to be above the Hun , then climbing to the Hun
hiding in the Sun !
The truth was never mentioned , for that matter neither , were the tests conducted ,
was it 20 degrees . 18 degress , 15 degress , Only the shop erk,s knew the truth ,
All of which points to a British design error !
