Milano Linate

For those looking for a very nice destination in Europe...this has been out for a while but seems to be unknown. It's a VERY nice freeware rendition of Milan's Linate airport for FSX.

There is a payware offering out there, but honestly many aspects of this freeware rendition look better to me (such as the textures).

Since its in Europe it would be a nice excuse to myself to take the time to learn to fly the Lancaster. Downloading Now.

Grazie mille ! Used to fly in there to our offices in Milan before Malpensa was oenend. Nice little airfield.

I agree, the Milano Linate freeware is an excellent piece of software, and so is the Italy photoreal, but its a whopping 400 gigs for the whole country.
There are some packages of small italy airfields on FSXfreeware. They are not high quality, but they add hundred or more airfields to the country.
Europe was totally let down by microsoft and the lack of airfields is the biggest problem.

There are two versions of Italy Photoreal, one is
indeed 400 GB but the other, which I have is 45GB.
You can also find files which add autogen to the photo scenery
if you like it and corrected versions of all the default airports
to fit the photographs.
It's a superb resource and free with donations to an excellent
cause optional.
