MilTech Simulations next helicopter announcement for 20/24

Sorry for now it will only be glass for all 3 models (not sure if they are doing separate R/S and Jayhawk T cockpits).

Typical, isn't it. It'll give or take half a year to develop a steam gauge cockpit like that of the UH-60 at the Paris Air Show shown above. A glass-cockpit version takes maybe a couple of weeks. That's why we see a LOT of those boring monitors in our precious flying machines instead of those mucho more appealing, interesting and charming looking steam gauges. Takes a LOT of dedication, heart and eagerness and ipso facto a LOT of time to go the ol' steam gauge way. Throw in a couple monitors and Bob's your uncle. Everybody is looking at one already !

Saves a LOT of time and effort and young Xbox simmers have never even heard of steam gauges anyway so Glass-Cockpits it will be !

(certainly not denying that a glass-cockpit probabely is the next best thing since sliced bread for real world aviation but i still think it's kind of an 'easy way out' for FS developers. Not sure but is there even *one* default MSFS2024 aircraft that doesn't have a glass cockpit ?... And, truth be told, i hate 'em ! ;) )

From his comment i get the impression that Keith *does* want that glass-cockpit in his Black Hawk and *not* that steam gauge cockpit as shown in his photo... ( would be a no-brainer for me.. ;) )

Agree, re-read his comment and I spent my time staring at that instrument panel, so it would be fine with me. Glass is the way.

Absolutely NOT! :)
Steam all the way for me...apologies if my wording was confusing...
This is the cockpit I do my real-life flying in and that's as modern as I want :)
