Milton's Dash-7 status

Great models..Here,s one that I made for Fs9 and lost in my old computer crash. If a FX version is available i may have to redo it .

Yago, if it comes about, and you do another BAS paint, I'll send you all the photos I have of her. I daresay you can never have too much reference material when repainting. She saw out the Antarctic winter at Duxford a couple of years ago...same airfield as the pictures of the Spartan earlier in the thread.

That looks like the version I still have for the original FS2002 release ... did you do that awesome texture?

Realy ? You did a photo texture for this one also ? Great, post a shot so I can see the uncanny resemblance..No need to redone mine then..Cheers!

pS.
wait, are you talking about the model only, the texture or both ?

This model is one of FS "Classics", I modified it somewhat and still fly it to do some Hurricane hunting in FSX with it´s NOA texture.......absolutely a classic.:applause::applause::applause:

Yes H,
I'll reupload tonight. Would you pm me my upload password etc as I appear to have lost it, as I only ever used it the once?

Cheers,

Roger.

No, it is a texture that was done for the original Dash 7v1 back in 2002-3. I do not recall who did it but it should be at Flightsim.com.

Okay,
I've reuploaded the modified Spartan repaints and should be available when Douglas turns them on.

Cheers,

Roger.

Nope, not at Flightsim...Pls post a shot if you have it to see if is any resemblance..wich I doubt deeply.

One huge favor i would like to ask of anyone updating the dash 7 for FSX is "Please dont touch the FDE?" it flies incredibly well in FSX with SP/2.. Making any changes to the flight model in my opinion would just be plane criminal..
Thanx..
Pam..

LOL no, Ed Knapp I think did one but I can't tell if it is this one. The two are actually quite different. Look at the tail textures.

lol..and the engines, and the fuselage and that one is photoreal when the other is not..Anyway ,not much substance other than this shot..lost it for good.

Just in case you FSX hogs missed this one:

Just uploaded to flightsim and the Outhouse (FS2004 section).

This repaint was also tested in FSX SP1 and seems to work quite well with it (besides the usual gauge issues...).
Thumbnail and altered 'spinprop_t.bmp' texture (recommendation by Milton) included.

Cheers,
Markus.
