Hi
You are probably aware that there is a stupendously gorgeous PV2 that Milton Shupe is developing for FS2004. He recently released an "ai" version with less detail and no VC.
I have been working at converting it for CSF2. I am using the old Alphasim dp file and air file as a starting point for the conversion.
I have the model converted fine and it works surprisingly well. It isn't multires but I had 4 on my (modern enough to fly FSX) system with no drop in FRs and even with 8 on the screen at once it was acceptable.
Unfortunately I have run into an issue with the DP file. I have run out of weapon mount points. There are 8 internal bomb spots plus 8 external rocket spots. I am using DBolts weapons and the 8 external rockets need an additional 8 mount points for the 8 rocket pylons. So this is a total of 24 mount points which appears to be the limit. As a result I don't have mount points for the external long distance fuel tanks or for the internally carried torpedo.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
