MilViz 737-200

:salute: thank you Skyhawk18. Skyhawk18 I also have a special req for my fellow Arctic Canadians. On Aug 20th 2011 First Air Flight 6560 crashed on approach to CYRB. That crash hit all of us in the Canadian Arctic hard and I'm wondering if you could please accept a req for First Air C-GNWN http://www.airliners.net/photo/First-Air/Boeing-737-210C-Adv/1881102/L/, So she may fly again in the virtual skies as a remembrance and a sign of honor to the great Workhorse of the Arctic that bring life to us.

Sorry to hear about the fate of the C-GNWN. Yes, I will paint this one. I may need som more pictures (close-up) of the illustration on the vert stab (if it's possible to get some...)

Thanks Mr. Gunnar,
If it´s possible evaluate the possibility to put a brazilian livery in the package (VARIG, VASP, CRUZEIRO) ... well ... don´t hurt to ask! :icon_lol:

I have plans for several nationalities, so I may include a Brazilian livery too... :icon_lol:

And Dave.....Britannia is on my to-do list already :jump:

Skyhawk18, I hope(pray) that you'll consider at least one Piedmont scheme. Both the early and late schemes looked good but I think most would prefer the later gloss white over bare metal(bottom) with the blue stripe down the side and late(large) emblems.

Combi and gravel kits, I'll order 15 now and 20 in two months please:icon_lol: and Im serious you have just got me as a customer, psst add a Canadian North paint and if you have gift certificates I'll buy three for a contest at my Virtual airline:icon29:

You buy that many by yourself and I'm thinking you can have any livery you bloody well want, sir!

Ken

Working on a Canadian North livery now, and I have plans for a lot more.
All i can say by now is that there will be several liveries included with the release
Please don't overlook Wien Consolidated who, with Alaska, were the first to have the gravel kit. Back in '69/70 I was at Annette Island tower when Boeing had a 737 up testing the gravel kit. Annette's secondary runway was gravel and the closest of sufficient length for the tests.

This looks absolutely excellent!

In a hopefully not too futile effort to add to the livery request list, if I may submit the following:

National Airways Corporation (New Zealand)...almost the -200 launch customer if politics didn't get in the way. The airline was considering the -200 when it was still on the drawing board).

Aloha Airlines

Regardless of what liveries you include with release, I'm sure it'll be an amazing addon that'll be quite popular with the community (despite there being at least 3 737-200 models out or nearly out by then).

Ours will be a complete product with all systems modeled exluding the pneumatics systems. As far as release liveries go we have not finalized the list, but I think it would be safe to say we will not be adding to much (unless Gunnar keeps painting away like usual :icon_lol:) as we have always released the aircraft with paint kits and like seeing what the community can do with it.

Just for information before anyone spots and mentions it...

The model build used for these screenshots has both the gravel kit and the normal gear doors visible. This was not an oversight, but simply because I hadn't compiled two separate models!

The "Gravel Kit" consists of the highly visible skid plate mechanism on the nosegear, a retractable belly beacon light, and vortex generator tubes on the fwd lower edge of the two engines. Check Sprouts Ad and Albertsons Ad. These are used to squirt high-pressure bleed air ahead of the intakes to minimize the possibility of FOD ingestion... :icon_lol:

Thanks for clearing that up. I just started reading this thread and was going to post that someone needs to do some more research. But you'd be suprised how many customers wouldn't have a clue that there was a difference.

I would like to paint much of your requested liveries, but there is a limit for what I can manage within release. After the release, I may proceed painting a couple. So, by now I can not give more promises.
A paint kit will be available (as usual). The one I am using now is rather complex, but I will try to simplify it. :icon_lol:

3 liveries are almost done. More to come....

:icon_lol::icon_lol::running:Oh the teasing and suspense. More more please or is it release time??:icon_lol: Really like the video and nice catch on the noises in the 737 VC. I for one know all too well the deafening decibels of the pit on the 737-200C.

Havent you guys heard that you do not have to actually finish the plane before you can release it lol:icon_lol:

737s seen to be the rabbits of the flight sims with P51s a close second.
