Thanks for your comments. However, you may be mistaken on the pilots. They are exactly right for 5'11" tall males weighing in at 160lbs. And the plane is exactly the right size. 100% accurate to scale.

As for the color, there are many different colors of E. As can be seen on Airliners.net.

When painting this aircraft, I have used several photos. The livery is NOT finished, and the base colors (among others) are still under adjustments. They should probably be a bit darker with a slight bluish/purple tint. But I have not seen these IRL, so I have to rely on photos

The new colours look great when you see then for real they are an increadibly dark bluish purple colour but what you've done is practically spon on for the real ones, looks great!!

Ill be posting some pics soon of the APG-70 operation in shortrange autoaquire mode along with the AIM-9M in action :icon_lol::rocket:

Keep in mind that the Lakenheath F-15E's are a different color than most of the US based F-15E's. Also, F-15E's have been painted so many different shades of gray over the years, that Gunnar could paint this baby just about any shade and still be true to a real life scheme. Then there's the green paint schemes, from way back.....

Fellas, the plane looks great and so does the paint!

I've been wanting a good F-15 for a long time and this beauty looks to be a keeper.

I hope the flight dynamics match the model's good looks.

The same guy who did the Milviz T-38 FDE, is doing this one ( Bernt/ "Bstolle"). The model fly's very well.

That's exactly right. It's all subjective and depends on how the painter feels that day -- factory fresh or sun bleached.

Now you're talking!
