• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I can't find a way to get the Phantom nose strut extend and connect a catapult on the SWS Nimitz. Any solutions ?

The Milviz ADV Phantom is incompatible with all our carriers, as noted on our product page. This is on the aircraft's side, so there is nothing we can do.

I talked with MV about it a year ago and the answer to whether they would make it compatible was negative.
 
The basic features for the Milviz F4 ADV and the SWS Midway (I am talking of arresting hook and catapult launch) were working for me until the recent update of the Midway package (the MV F4 has not been updated in between). It does not work anymore now.

It would be great to have this feature back...

More advanced features, like the "spawn on deck" were not working, but do work now (useless however if you can not takeoff).

For me this reason alone is enough to consider going back to the previous version of the Midway.

We have always marked the ADV as incompatible as it never worked for us or those testers that owned it. The code pieces for arresting in CEX hasn't been touched, launching was changed to a fully custom, realistic system.

Unfortunately, we cannot go back to a deprecated system for one aircraft that cannot be updated -and I really believe the F-4 ADV must be very hard to tweak.
