Milviz F-86F-30 Sabre - Released

On several photos of the Sabre cockpit, it seems that the windshield frame meets the fuselage not at a right angle but at a small ‘outward’ angle. So, the windshield and the cockpit ‘bulge out’ a bit, probably to increase downward visibility. It would seem to me that this is not so much the case in the Milviz plane. Of course it can be a distortion in the photos I saw, but still I am wondering…

Awesome paint,,

to the developers
Are you going to fix the power cart that float about 6 inches in the air.. very nicely illustrated in the above screenshot.

Buy it and then you will see how great it is - i think its just the angle of the screenshots that is the problem - not the model

The "floating" cart issue can't really be fixed due to the fact that its tied to the plane. Add weight to the plane (tanks, fuel, weapons) and the plane sinks. So too, the gpu. When fully loaded the gpu is sunk a fair bit. More and it would like its got flat tires. Choices choices.

We're discussing the glide...

I have it and it is indeed great. I ask the question not on the basis of screenshots but on what I see if I sit in the VC.

It's called parallax and it is indeed a distortion from the camera. I sat in the one at the Ottawa museum and took tons of pics. All good. We are going to fix some other issues though.

Yoyo what plane is that in your screenshots? Almost looks like a Tu-95 without the props.. It is big whatever it is though, and most definately looks Soviet.

Apparently, if you've installed all of the "updates" for DX10 and FSX (i have NO idea what these are), the jet apparently works and looks exactly the same....

Would anyone have all of those fixes in?

Yes and as I remarked in post #128<label for="post_imod_checkbox_756735"><input id="post_imod_checkbox_756735" class="postimod" name="plist[756735]" value="4" type="checkbox"> I have the canopy texture showing after my second flight. I have the latest Steve Parsons shaders update (see Avsim FsX Dx10 forum). </label>

I'm trying my hand making a few Greek birds. These two are restored (static) and are outside the HAF museum in Tatoi, my home base, where I took these shots. I'll do one more and release them as pack.

One thing I noticed, the bottom (belly/wings) have two different shades of silver. Either way, wow!
