gman, fantastic. I really think this is THE Red Bull P-38 repaint to have. One question, what airport are you using in the screenshots?
As previously mentioned, in addition to nearly total use of free castoring tailwheels and nosewheels, it was a vital part of the before takeoff checklists for the pilot to lock either wheel to ensure that running down the runway the free castoring wheel didn't hit a bump and get out of true alignment and send the aircraft into a disasterous ground loop. The pilot did not unlock the free castoring wheel until after he stopped his landing roll and had to resume taxi operations.
