Milviz Phantom sound question

I don't know if anyone else is bothered by this but I can turn down the Ident Morse code sound when tuned into a TACAN freq but I can't eliminate it entirely.
Despite mouse wheeling the volume control to it's limit the sound is still faintly there, loud enough to be annoying for me at least.
Does anyone know a way to silence it. It that involves losing the ident sound entirely I would be OK with that.
 
You could launch a HARM at the transmitter and silence it forever! Seriously though, I will be watching this space as I have this problem as well. (And not just with the Milviz Phantom, and not all the time!)
 
I had not thought to try that Sarge, I guess I just assume life isn't that simple anymore.
Unfortunately in this case it is not. Milviz seems to use the Ident off keystroke to cycle the air to air weapons.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
