Milviz recommendations

Browncoat

SOH-CM-2023
With the milviz Sumer Sale going on, which aircraft would you recommend? I have been eyeing their new P-38, the F-100, and the Cessna 310.

Hey Browncoat, my personal favorite of the Milviz products I have is the F-100D. It's easiest on frames, least quirky to fly (aside from the real aircraft's quirkieness!), the external model is a great looking aircraft and there are many 3rd party repaints for it.

I just got the B55 recently and that seems like a really well simulated aircraft and is easy on the frames. I also love the F-86 and the F-15. I can't say any of their aircraft are not worth getting, so probably just go for the aircraft you are most interested in in real life.

Cheers,

I would recommend the F100, F86 & the F4J&S. Of the three the F100 is a pure delight to fly the F4 the most complex. All are well worth the sale price

F-4, F-100, T-38, MD530, Bell 407, C310R, P-38L, UH-1.... I like them all

Like a someone swimming in the pool of money so recommend everything :very_drunk:

not as one like me, I have to be very calculative :frown-new:

Being a beta tester has its bonuses with Colin and Kat looking after their staff

The F100 is the newest package out of all of them so it will have more features than the other two

However the F100 and P38 have more paints

Yes, I'm endorsing the f100 as a tester. Having flown everything, and they're allooking good, the F100D is so satisfying to fly.

It would be self-serving to recommend the F100 so let me offer the F-4 is a great choice. Great depth of systems (the INS/air computer implementation is a work of art IMHO) and the FDE is impressive. The ability to do carrier work is a bonus too!

(Disclosure: involved in coding of F100 and testing of the F-4, so ya, some bias here! :a1310:)

Speaking of the F-4 - out of general interest - can the adverse yaw quirk of the hard wing models be simulated within the confines of MSFS?

I've read "Sierra Hotel" recently and the mention that a good part of F-4 accidents and combat losses were caused by adverse yaw was intriguing.

And just to pull MV's leg a bit: Is there 556 mod and working TISEO? :biggrin-new:

P.S:
If I had to choose between payware thin-piped 737s, I'd pick Milviz'.
