Hello All,

I was thinking of buying the Mindstar G1000. Update some of the AC. Anybody know about it. Everything I read sounds good. A little pricey, but I have to help stimulate the economy!

I haven't seen it or used it...but $50 for a sim Garmin 1000 system...that seems a bit steep to me....but I am sure that the package took a ton of programming to create. I wouldn't pay $50 for a GPS system....but then again, all I use GPS for is to help me get from point A to point B.

I have the Mindstar G1000. Bought it in 2006 I think, and is my costliest payware yet. Was'nt an easy decision to spend USD50 for it. Recently re-installed it and was pleasantly surprised to get support for it along with a d/l link for a ver. 2 beta 58. So I guess I can recommend it. You might also want to look at Flight1 Citation Mustang or the Eaglesoft DA42. Both are a complete package with G1000.

Pity, I don't have another 50 to spend on the Mustang :-(

Hope it helps....
