• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

'Miniature Horse' - Willy, Do You Have One Of These?

Nope, both of ours are full size horses. My wife Vickie's horse is a draft cross and is bigger than normal. When we rented pasture space from a neighbor, our horses ran with theirs and they had a couple of minis in the herd. My experience with those is that they have a whole lot of attitude and think they run the show. Pushy to the extreme and would bite or kick for almost nothing. That could have just been those two though. But the rest of their horses were fairly well behaved.

One of the minis got the idea of trying to push my mare around. Unfortuately for the mini, my horse has always been boss mare everywhere she's been and it got a swift kick for it's efforts. No damage done other than an attitude adjustment on the mini's part.
