    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Missing Comms and ATIS audio in fs9

I have suddenly lost Comms and audio ATIS in fs9. This is a new one on me in 14 years of using the sim. Anyone have a suggested fix?
 
Speakers:

Aircraft sounds are normal, but I notice that when I go to the setting to choose the pilot and atc voicesa, M or F; nothing shows.
 
I noticed that the sound file was missing from the fs9 directory, so I recovered it from a back up and all is well. I guess the question is: What happened to the original one?
