Hi Guys!
Well, another little pimple on the face of life has popped up!
When Marianas packs 1 and 2a were released they both included an exclude for rivers, roads and shorelines named 0_marianas_xcld.Bgl. 0_marianas_xcld.Bgl is one of the excludes that goes into the main cfs2/scenery folder. Specifically it covers the islands of Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.
As it turns out, I did not include this file in B3 (the bonins/Iwo Jima pack) or B4 (the Saipan pack).
If you had already installed 1 and 2a and upgraded thru B3 and B4 you would have noticed nothing amiss. However, if you began with either B3 or B4, the rivers, shorelines and roads on these four islands would still be showing and I would not have been aware of it.
I discovered the ommission when responding to a post by Skylane over in the MR Marianas Pack b-4: Saipan Added! thread.
