This doesn't seem to want to open even if I have many CFS3 installs inc. the basic one with patches. What I really want to know is if the mission builder uses GS, IAS, or TAS

So no replies but my main issue is what airspeed the Mb uses?

I can't get the MB help to open either and the Mission SDK doesn't provide any clues. Very odd.

All I can see is that in the overall CFS3 realism settings you can choose true or indicated airspeed.
In the MB you specify knots over a distance in Nautical miles and I guess that CFS3 is working in only the 2 options above, you just need to choose what you want it to read and let the game sort the rest out.

Well IAS will change with altitude whereas TAS or GS, depending on wind presence, I imagine those would be the same with 0 wind. Now mb allows one to choose a speed but I doubt that is IAS as on the gauge . Are you saying I can change that in the mb through the realism settings? Yes one can, but I assume that is what one would see on the gauge as well as on 'Z', and I prefer gauge as IAS and Z as TAS or GS. I assume the mb would not depend on aircraft realism settings, as that would be confusing.

No, in the main CFS3 right hand menu Realism tab, it's just a units setting affecting the player aircraft.
