    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

missions and texture

Having recently discovered the delights of IL2 I'm keen to add as much as I can.
I've downloaded ETO and PTO missions but can't work out where they should be installed.
Also where do Compans ground textures go?
Any help would be appreciated.
 
for missions you can actually put them anywhere in the IL2/missions folder and open them with full mission builder or if you want to open them through the single mission button on the main menu then you need to go to the main IL2 folder / missions / single and then whatever country/aircraft the mission is for.

and i have no clue about ground textures..that is probably something involving a mod which i haven't attempted yet...
 
Thanks Redriver - I'll try that. I am finding that IL2 downloads seem to lack installation instructions as compared to MS flightsim downloads.
