Looks like tommorow Aerosoft will release this small ultrawingaircraft - Mitchell Wing. Its done by team of Aerosoft's Falcon ultralight (payware).

It will be as a FREE gift!

More info here: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/55437-mitchell-wing-preview/
Thx Aerosoft!

Great! David Rowberry has done some very interesting gliders and light aircraft in the past so I will definitely get this one! :applause:

Nice!!!

Thanks for the heads up. This looks pretty nice!

Amazing textures on the cabin, the fiberglass mottling is brilliant...

I like the little critter too. (ashamed to admit I forgot I had an account there from years gone by)

Did not find an effect namedfx_engstrt_u2, so removed _u2 from the end for standard smoke startup.

Looks like I'm going looking for thermals for awhile.

Took it for a short hop along the Australian coast; fun little aircraft!

Very nicely detailed; it's hard to show how well the wear is done and how good the structure of the inside of the fuselage looks:

Well, that sucks. I know I have a forum login because during the OV-10 development I was over there all the time, but now they don't seem to be able to find any record of it. Oh well.

I had the same problem . Its been a long time . I went for a password replacement ( my forum name remains the same ) with no problems . I am now a very happy owner - lovely little machine !

Same here guys....I can't get my password. I tried the recovery 4 times but never got one email back. Sucks!

I joined their forum this AM. I'm logged in and can read the forum posts but haven't received the validation email. Asked for a revalidation and have heard nothing. If anybody from Aerosoft is here at SOH how about sending me the validation link here via PM.

Got it. Strange though because when I registered of course I had to input my e-mail address and I never got an error saying that it was already in use. I posted many questions during the OV-10 development so I had to have had a login at that time. . . .yet it seems to be completely gone now. I just re-registered and downloaded the "Wing". Thanks Mathijs and Aerosoft!!:salute::applause:

This makes more than a passable glider.
Knowing that feathering props is beyond the scope of this little bird,
a simpler option to disengage the prop drive to have it free wheeling would be nice visually.
The general outline reminds me of the Genesis 2 glider, if it came to a vote I prefer this because
you can power yourself to where the winds tickle it's nether parts.

(ok, now I've had too many)

I agree on the "passable glider". I took it up for a quick flight this afternoon to about 7000' and I actually had to force it to lose altitude. I flew, power off, for 15 minutes or more and finally had to get back to work and just pointed the nose down and got back to terra firma.

Thanks for the link Matt. I already have way too many various forum accounts that I don't have any use for, so I wouldn't have bothered registering at AS forums, just to get the link:kilroy:.
