MJ Douglas C-47 cockpit sounds

Hi
I've just installed this Manfred Jahn C-47 v1406 MVC into a new installation of P3Dv4.5 and I can't get the cockpit sounds to work. I'm referring to the call-outs by Ernie the co-pilot and the coffee-carrying Betty the air stewardess and also the switches clicking etc.
I have opened up the checklist (Shift-5) and put Xes in the appropriate boxes but they still don't work.
What do I need to do to activate these sounds?

regards
Thomas

How about the box with the switches next to the pilot on the left side. I'll see if I can post a pic.

You will need the Doug Dawson 64-bit sound gauge dll

Go here : https://www.douglassdawson.ca/

place the ====>>> C47_dsd_P3Dv4_xml_x64_sound.dll into ====>>> Douglas_C-47_Beta_V3.1406/panel folder

Go into panel.cfg file and edit this:

Can someone tell me what version had the actual sound files. I don't see them in the pBR or v 3.1406 versions I have downloaded.

Thanks,
LouP

My d/l of the Douglas_C-47_Beta_V3.1406 has the sound files inside the sound folder .... all 50 of them .... you prolly got a "borked-up" file somehow.

OK, Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll take a look with this info and see if I can get it working.

regards
Thomas

:dizzy:

Not looking for the "sounds" folder with the engine sounds. Looking for the "[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]/DGSounds/CockpitSounds_C47" sound folder referenced in the panel.cfg which also contains the "[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]CockpitSounds_C47.ini" file also referenced in the panel.cfg.

Should be in your panel folder labeled DGSounds.

Oh, and Mr.Zippy is correct.

I also never understood why the Warbirds Library has the Douglas_cC-47_V3.12_Beta.zip version, so maybe one of the forum administrators can have the Douglas_C-47_Beta_V3.1406 placed in there.

Yeah, I never understood why Manfred did not upload that version to the library. It was a dropbox link a while ago in one of his posts.
