MK Studios Key West KEYW

According to the post on the official MS board, this is due tomorrow. For what it's worth, "I was today years old" when I found out that KEYW has a new concourse!

Since it doesn't appear that Orbx will be updating theirs, looks like I'm spending some money this weekend.

It's starting to cheese me off to see developers already abandoning a sim that still has years left before reaching end of life. Personally, I have hundreds of dollars invested in payware and if you add in my freeware, it adds up to probably close to a terabyte of data on my drive. Combine that with a mostly rock-solid sim and I don't plan on moving any time soon.

I was all set to buy this too. I'm like you - I have too much invested in this sim to hop into the next version when this version is running well. There are many out there like us. These devs running from a stable and well-used sim are fools. It would benefit them to remodel it for 2020. They have the know-how for both sims and there are still thousands upon thousands of 2020 users to make it profitable. This will probably be my last flightsim. Unless someone comes out with more models of the GA planes I flew in r/l over the years, I have no interest in more of the same.

Agree with you about being upset that developers are abandoning 2020. I use 2020 99% of the time, and the little I DO spend in 2024 involves at least one to two CTDs. NC
