Pretty trip down the Canyonlands area, flying over Glen Canyon, Fifty-Mile Mountain, the Kaiporowits Plateau, and then Lake Powell. Dramatic stuff, this chiseled out terrain.
Lots of fun flying the Tioga Pass. (Busted altitude for a couple of minutes while weaving around.) The Yosemite Valley is pretty impressive, even if you have time for only a passing glance. Then lost a few minutes finding Mariposa in the haze.
Safely into San Carlos. Next, Top of the Mark. Wonder what they are serving at 10:00am... Maybe a quick stop at the Sky Kitchen first. Then to pick up the tab at the pilots' corner of the bar.
