You should know, all Naval Aviators (or Nasal Radiators, if you like :) ) are taught in flight school basic NOT to flare on pain of Capt's Mast. At the very least. Fly it down onto the deck, about 700FPM, give or take. That's drilled into them. That's how you hit the deck of the boat, so it's ALWAYS how you land. That way, you develop good habits so when you DO fly out to the boat, you are good to go.
I knew a lot of those guys when I was in, believe me, they fly them all the way down every time. A little hard on tires, not to mention Main Gear struts, but they're made to take it.
Still, great pictures! :encouragement:

Approach attitude looks about right to me. Of course, one still Kodak says nothing about AOA, airspeed, VS, or power setting. IOW, no way to know if a flare is involved, or not... He gets an "OK3".

I was just going by his annotation of the picture. He has the label "Flare" on it. I didn't see any flares, so I had to presume he meant flare for landing :untroubled:
I may well be wrong, though. I usually am!
