Its had its share of problems......

Thats all i know..But a bios update fixed most of its issues.

I have 790i FTW edition and been running no problems with a 33% overclock for some time now. Also love the BIOS of it over the 780i and below. And harleyman is right about the BIOS updates but if buying now that should all be ready to go and no need for update or to be reflashed. I got the 790i FTW when a 790i PCI slot blew the company upgraded me to the FTW edition.

Any exacty question as to the Mobo just ask.

Harleyman,

Those look like the BIOS settings that I posted here awhile back. If so, they are for a 790i Ultra with a Q9450 and 4 Gb of Corsair DDR3 1600. They may or may not work for the FTW version. Delirious and Micah at the EVGA forums would know better. I have no experience with the FTW. Anyway, these settings gave me a nice stable mild OC and FSX runs like a champ on it. :wiggle:

These just might be yours....I had them saved for that OC and thought that the FTW version would be the same..

Hmm...I wonder what the difference is on them now.....

not sure guys but i have it at 3.6 Ghz OC just stability testing lol
