• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

How did you all get started, and where do you find time to do this?
I have seen that you guys have so many hours of free time to do this.
Also how many Moderators are there here at SOH?
I see that there is so many people from all over the world in here.
I think that why can,t everybody in the world get along like we here at SOH!!!!:isadizzy:

Devildog73 and Simonu are the current moderators of the CFS 2 forum. Both have contributed mightily over many years.

Rami and I also peek our heads into the basement now and then and enjoy the camaraderie of the "Senior Sim."

On the whole though, the Basement seems to be self-moderating for the most part. We've enjoyed and suffered many characters over years and it all seems to work pretty well. Perhaps by blowing up our cyber opponents in the sim, we don't have to blow each other up. The CFS 2 forum has a reputation among the staff members as being one of the most polite and productive of our fora.
