Modifying Gauges

I now have the program to place the gauges, but need for my current project Japanese gauges for a two engine plane, unfortunately I can’t‘ find some, so there is the question: Can the stock gauges be modified, or better are there always some Japanese twin engine gauges available?
OK, my current project now comes close to the beta test phase, I think a usable beta aircraft will be available before Christmas, and yes it’s a Japanese aircraft. Who like can speculate which Japanese aircraft it is.

Among my gauges there is a MAPE_Jap_4Eng.gau file, but I'm not sure who did them or where to get them exactly*.

As to what plane it is, there are many Japanese twin engined planes, so I'll blindly say a Ki-67 Hiryu :salute:.



*EDITED: a thorough search in my HD shows this: MAPE= Mike (MoparMike) Wagner, and the MAPE_Jap_4Eng.gau file is available here
 
Hi Wolfi here is a general purpose utility called reshack. (resourse hack).
You can use it to extract bitmaps from windows executables and reload or replace them. It works just fine on gauges, It is also very interesting for general snooping inside .exe s and .dll s.

Didn't "moparmike" do a bunch of foreign twin + gauges of which I believe MAPE_Jap_4Eng.gau
is one.

Found this in my stable. It is a Jap 4 engine gauge by Moparmike. His addy etc. is in the readme. Hope it is what you need, or a start anyway.:salute:
