• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Mom has cancer.

I will send a prayer.mom survived 2 bouts of cancer. She was a hoot.Hang in there buddy and when you see the sisters don't be shy, tell them to put a sock in it and to stop the nonsense.

It's time to pull together, good luck.

Full throttle on the prayers from this little corner of the cyberspace, keep the faith, and good luck with the sisters, that is the kind of crap that is so counter productive at a time like this, sending a little extra prayer they come to their senses and support the family now when it is needed.

Update.

Update, they finally got the test back on the section of colon and part of the bowel they removed and the doctor was wrong, it is not cancer!!

I do not know what it is yet and she looked like crap when I saw her Sunday, but at least it is not the big c.

Thanks for the prayers and support folks.

Prayers for your mom Rick.Great to hear there was no cancer.

I am a colon cancer survivor, had 12-inches removed in 1995, wore a colostomy bag for 6-months, then had a reversal and all's been well since thanks be to God. I pray that your mom has the same good fortune with her op and recovery.
