Many of the aircraft that are on display at the Evergreen Aviation Museum, as well as the land and buildings, are owned by the non-profit "Michael King Smith Foundation", and thus aren't directly tied to the Evergeen International business. This includes the "Hughes Hercules" (Spruce Goose). These are all 'safe' for the time being. What is in more immediate 'jeopardy' is the aircraft that are on display which are owned by Del Smith himself - these include the B-17, FG-1D, P-40, Spitfire, Me 109, P-38, TBM, T-28, Tri-Motor, DC-3, DH-4, SNJ, S-2B, Stinson, PT-17, and P-51.
