Oeh, just found this thread, and it hit home hard.

Icky, do what needs to be done, and enjoy every day to the fullest.

Statistics always change, so why couldn't you be the exception to the rule, and shift that scale the positive way....

I am not a religious person, but I will keep you in my thoughts.

Happy flying,

Ron,

I too echo Rami's thoughts and prayers from the other side of Florida.

My wife had ovarian cancer found in 2011. The silent killer because it usually isn't detected until too late.

She had a wonderful oncologist in Germany and after chemotherapy has been cancer free for the last four and a half years.

Hang in there. Stay positive.

God numbered the hairs on our heads and the days of our lives, not cancer and not man's incomplete medical knowledge.

Prayers going up on your behalf.

Lee

Ron, the thought that you might not be among us in the future saddens me. Cancer is a difficult disease to live with, as you are always balancing between fear and hope. However this should not put a shadow over the present. You are still here and what the future will bring is still uncertain.

As there must be people who belong to this group, I really hope you are among the 4% which gets more time.

For now, don’t give up and spend you days wisely!

Cheers,
Huub

this morning I am having the first kemo treatment.
and I hope my Dr will tell be the results of yesterdays MRI, I have this headache for weeks now and yesterday it took a total of 7 oxy's to clear it.
I woke to a headache today. I always hated headakes that's why I quit drinking in the 1970's.

I got this song in my head, "Bald Headed Linna" has anybody seen her

ok back home today went well but took 2 hours and was introduced to only 2 drugs.
next week it will take 4 hours because of labs and also being introduced to the third drug.
so far i am fine, the hair is still there.

wow it hit me like a brick, I had lunchfast and pow i had to go lay down slept for a little over 2 hours and i still aint up to it yet, lol. I am having pain in my lf lung, they told me this was going to happen it means the drug is working. I have to avoid all sick people as mow my amune system is down.

I am glad you are making progress! I hope it continues. And remember: If the hair goes away, there's always rugs :D
I wish you the greatest of good luck, and hope things keep going this well for you!

Hey Ickie,

Not sure how you feel about Herbal medicine, not the wacky stuff either. Here is someone you can get in touch with. Her name is Margi Flint.

http://earthsongherbals.com/

She is one of the top (If not the top) herbalists in the country. Not sure if you'd be able to make the trip but if you contact her she may be able to point you to someone closer to you.

Time to arm yourself with more knowledge and means of fighting this disease. My prayers are with you.

'til Later,
John
