Back in the day if you took a date to see them you were all but guarenteed a fun night....:bump:

I first started listening to them way back in 1976. The LP, "Abandoned Luncheonette" is still my favorite.

I'm sorry Pete but I just could never get into these guys ... not sure what it was about 'em.

Good thing everyone's tastes are different eh?

Thanks for sharing just the same Bud!

:salute:

Hope things are doing okay for ya.

Saw these guys about seven years ago with Micheal McDonald and The Average White Band.
They must have been having a really off night. Wasn't impressed at all. And I am a fan.
They all played together At the ends of the night and Daryl couldn't remember the words to songs and McDonald had to start singing the song.
Actually, Micheal McDonald totally stole the show. AWB was really good too.

Hi Rich.....A Very Merry Christmas to you and yours too... Thank you

Hmmm Clairfy??/ maybe I better not..But it involved the upper row of seats, and some ovious precautions..

Ahh .... to have been so young and reckless once upon a time...:mixedsmi:

I have only seen Hall and Oates once in concert, and I walked out before they were finished. The main reason was the acoustics in the Indianapolis Convention Center. It was awful. But H & O, leastwise back then, just were not seasoned performers.

What got my attention since then, were a couple concert dvds that they'd done. Very impressive! They are, in my opinion, much, much better now, than in years past.

Snuffy, I am ok. Could be much better. But am keepin on......
