Christopher Cross, and "Never Be The Same"

Stephen Bishop, and "It Might Be You", from the movie, "Tootsie"

and another of Stephen's, called "Parked Cars"......I love the lyrics.....

Kathy Mattea, and "Where've You Been?" I am not a country or Kathy Mattea fan, for that matter. But this song's lyrics are beautiful. The song was actually written by Kathy Mattea's husband, Jon Vezner. I have seen him perform, and he is great.

James Ingram and Michael McDonald, and "Ya Mo Be There"

and for something totally different:

Neville Livingston, and "The Electric Slide". If I could dance, I would dance to this one:

Share away NC! I find myself liking different genres of music more and more now, because people like you share their favorites :)So thank you for sharing!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

Hubby and I went out to dinner with friends last night, and when we got done eating, we drove around a bit, discussing what we wanted to do next. So finally, we decided to stop at this local bar, just outside of downtown <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Pittsburgh</st1:place></st1:City>. Picture the typical, friendly-everybody-knows-your-name bar. So, we are sitting down, enjoying our beers, when I spot an old-fashioned jukebox in the corner. I asked our friend Harry, to go put some music on for us. He asked me what I felt like listening to, so I just told him to surprise me.....and surprised I was.....when this song first started playing, I thought to myself: What the heck is that? And all of a sudden, I noticed that a lot of the folks in the bar, started to clap their hands and sing . They actually knew this song! I must admit, it did not take me long to fall in love with the song myself...Until last night, this singer was totally unknown to me. Now, I'm a fan!<o:p></o:p>

Enjoy!<o:p></o:p>
