So they just said during the Nationwide race that the new Ford engine runs COOLER (which means more tape)...

Betcha didn't think about that one eh EasyEd (and here you were blaming power when the NASCAR dyno test proved that wrong) ...

Hey All,

There may be something to this. More hp AND a faster car due to ability to put on more tape which would be an advantage in and of itself. I'm still not buying the hp numbers until I know what cars (who's engines) were tested and if it is repeatable. Until then it's just talk. I know what my eyes tell me.

One more on the cooler running engine..

The new engine was designed in part to run cooler and more efficiently, which should allow teams better nose-aerodynamics, which in turn should make the cars turn better. That, rather than simply more horsepower.
