• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

this kid is just something,i know most of you dont really care for NASCAR nor sprint cars....but guys..when you see raw talent,you have to acknowlage it..being from california,and with my own successfull racing carrear...it makes me proud to see these youngmen come from "my area" ,the greater sacramento area,,,Kyle Larson,Elk Grove.Brad Sweet Grass Valley,Matt DiBenedetto Grass Valley,then theres Cole Whitt Alpine ,Scott Speed Mantica,Paulie Harraka isnt from here ,but he spent several years driving at the all american speedway in roseville cal,,just down the road from me,for Bill McEnally in the NAPA cars in the K&N west racing,theres another kid in nationwide whom i cant remember his name from the Bay Area..oh and BTW Scott Pruett lives just down the street from me,his "vinyard" is about a quarter mile behind me towards folsom lake,i met him at a race track many many years ago..then ran into him one day in the late 2000's at a small market here in our nieghborhood..and he accually remembered MY name...LOL...

Looks like all he needed was good team/equipment - and it looks like Ganassi has it this year.

Too bad Marlin & Montoya had to drive during the "mid-pack" years of Ganassi/(Sabates)
And heck, throw in Kyle Petty too...
