Well seeing as how i'm allowed to take the car out now i decided to go a little further afield, so went to a wood about 6 miles away.

Cant knock the view!

all in all a very pleasent walk, cant wait to go down their in the spring/summer!!

Thanks for those beautiful pics . There is no better stress relief than a walk down a wooded trail with your dog(or dogs) running out ahead of you . It takes you away and makes you forget this crazy world we live in .

In my best Bill the Cat. "BITE ME!"

Da**ed Limeys get snow and we here in the original old Colony cannot buy an inch! :d

Really fine photos Stiz, I can dream! Once upon a time we got snow every Winter here. Now, if you see a flake, you're lucky! Global warming?????????????

Stiz,.............is this Sherwood forest,...where Robin Hood use to hang out with his merry band of men?

couldnt agree more :)

that what it tends to be here, we've had more snow in the last couple months than with have for at least 10/12 years, if not longer :faint:

Stiz,.............is this Sherwood forest

nope Sherwood is about a 100 miles southish :wavey:

stiz,
Back in Illinois we call what you got a "light dusting" of snow! :d But it does make the countryside look nice.

Nice pics Stiz! I still enjoy my winters...preferably with snow. But I wouldn't mind without all the -20ish°F temps that we've had this winter. Yup, global warming! ;)

I like the mutts too...they look like they were enjoying the time spent with "their person" as much as you had. Summer, winter, whatever the season...I enjoy my dog time.

Snow...... we have nothing but that white crap everywhere, and it is getting worse by the day.... it has been a terrible winter here in Atlantic Canada, we got about a foot just before Xmas and the temps have been cold ever since so it is just piling up, I have an 8 foot drift in my front yard and the pile at the end of the driveway is too high to see over when standing on my deck - I HATE WINTER!!!!!

I wish the mad scientist that came up with the Global Warming Theory would explain it to our weather man, "cuz let me tells ya bye it ain't happening round deze parts!" - That's Newfie for "not here" and the Newfoundlanders have another saying I use a lot this time of year - "FOOK I HATES WINTER"

And the weatherman just said another 2 - 2 & 1/2 feet of white crap overnight.... :faint:

Nice shots! Just the right amount of snow! :)

And where I'm from, I have to agree with the "dusting" comment.

Stiz, now that looks like a late fall day up in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern NY. Winters used to drop so much at one time on occasion that we had to use snowshoes just to get the mail. ;)

Central NY, off the eastern end of Lake Ontario, back in 2005 and 2006 had 9 feet of snow from a couple of winter storms. Try getting thru that in Merry ol England. ;costumes:
