Mosquito and Spifire

I recognize Paine Field in Everett, WA from all the KC-46 (derived from the 767 airframe) parked in the background. When I was on that program back in 2018 we took delivery of the first 7 aircraft, with another 40 airframes already parked and waiting for finishing/rebuilding. At this point 5 years later we've taken delivery of 89 out of the 179 needed to complete the order for KC-46. For comparison, 89 would be about two months production for the 737 at its peak production rate.

I have seen that Spitfire fly, but I moved away just before they started flying the Mosquito. Probably my favorite aviation museum. I worked at an airport about half an hour north, and their MiG 29 would occasionally swing by and give us a few low passes down the runway. Once there was an ultralight in a tight pattern when the MiG blasted by. Pretty sure he needed a change of pants.
