Mouse View.

Hi All,

I've getting on with MS2024 pretty well apart from a really annoying issue, I'm not able to use my mouse to pan around the cockpit as I can within MS2020. While I can use the POV hat on my stick to look around, I find it isn't as accurate as the mouse.

Has anyone here had the issue or have a fix?

If your mouse wheel works as a button also, when you push it, it allows you to pan around the cockpit. Does on mine, anyway.

Yep, had the issue and the fix too ! ;-)

Extremely annoying indeed to have to change from stick to mouse all the time while working in the cockpit. Not sure anymore why it took so long for me to find out but it's really just a matter of carefully programming your mouse here : Settings/Controls/Mouse/Camera/Cockpit Camera/Cockpit View Yaw Axis and Cockpit View Pitch Axis. I have set Yaw to 'move mouse L-R + right button' and Pitch to 'move mouse U-D + right button'. You can of course choose Left button instead or possibly even the top button if you have that. Let go of the button and you can work with the instruments. Works a treat and fast too !

Well,

I don't know why, but I loaded MSFS2024 up to give the suggestion a try....

Pressed the right-hand mouse button & lo & behold, mouse view is working! This is despite the fact I had previously tried pressing each mouse button in turn without success! !!

I'm going to keep an eye on it for the next few sim-sessions, in case it's just a group of gremlins intermittently kicking off within my PC system!
(Or the fact that MSFS2024 is still very buggy!).

Maybe it's a preset that i lost somehow... In any case, good to know you have your mouse view back !
